FAQ

First things first — just fill out an enquiry form. After that, we’ll sort out any extra details over email, and I’ll send you a quote.

Once you get your quote, you’ll have 7 days to pop down a 50% deposit to lock in your spot. The rest isn’t due until two weeks before your event.

If your booking is made less than two weeks in advance, full payment will be required.

I recommend placing your order about 3-4 weeks in advance to make sure I have availability, as I have a limited number of slots each week. The earlier you reach out, the better chance you’ll have of securing your spot! While I typically plan ahead, I may still be able to squeeze in last-minute orders depending on the size and design. Don’t hesitate to reach out – I’m happy to see what I can do for you!

Absolutely! Feel free to mix and match flavours however you like.

If you need to make big changes to your order less than two weeks before your scheduled pickup/delivery, there may be a small fee to cover the redesign and any work or materials already put into your original order.

Deposits are non-refundable, but if you give me at least 7 days’ notice, I’ll be happy to apply your deposit as a credit toward a new booking date. If the booking is canceled or the date change is made with less than 7 days’ notice, the deposit will be forfeited. Thanks for understanding!

“On the big day, there are just a few things to think about: where the cake will go, when it’ll be delivered, and when to cut it! Try to place the cake in a cool, shaded spot to keep it fresh. Since there’s usually a gap between the ceremony and reception, it might be a good idea to have the cake delivered closer to when everyone’s about to head into the reception. If that’s not possible, make sure there’s somewhere cool to store it until it’s time to bring it out. Remember, serve when the cake is close to room temperature for the best velvety buttercream experience.

I recommend transporting your cake on a flat surface in your car, like the floor in front of the passenger seat or the boot, with the AC on to keep things cool. While driving, just take it easy on the corners and brakes to keep the cake steady!

Also, if the cake isn’t going straight to its final spot, make sure it gets refrigerated before any further travel. That’ll help keep it in perfect shape.

Your cakes and other baked goods can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days (if you have any left, that is! 😄). Avoid direct sunlight. If you need them to last longer, chilling them will extend the shelf life up to a week.

Tiered cakes (A Must): Please keep all tiered cakes refrigerated! They should only be taken out about 1-2 hours before serving. This ensures stability. Remember, buttercream is most delicious when it’s closer to room temperature, so this ‘rest time’ is important!

Don’t worry, a care sheet will be provided upon delivery or pick up!
