Hi! I’m Cherrie, the baker and decorator behind Cerise Bakehouse.

Since I was young, I’ve been captivated by the classic French desserts and pastries, admiring the meticulous process involved in crafting something that is both visually stunning and delicious. This fascination led me to attend pastry school. 

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of honing my skills in various restaurants and hotels in Tokyo, creating seasonal desserts alongside other talented chefs.

Fast forward to 2024, my partner and I have made Wellington our home for the last 5 years, and recently welcomed our second daughter. I’ve taken the initiative to register our home kitchen with the council, enabling me to continue baking while prioritizing time with our kids.

I take great pleasure in creating cakes, knowing they’ll play a part in my customers’ special moments. I’m excited to connect with you and collaborate on designing the perfect cake for your next celebration.
